Today, the company"s self-built floating crane vessel ushered in a key construction node - the installation of the rudder plate was officially launched, marking that the ship"s construction has entered the end of the underwater project and has taken a solid step towards its official launch. According to the company"s engineers, the current "underwater engineering" stage is the core key link before the ship is launched into the water, and is also an important symbol of the completion of the main body construction.

The "underwater engineering" that the current ship is in is a popular expression in the industry for the final core construction stage before the ship is launched. The standard name is "the late stage of slipway/dock construction - the underwater hull, rudder system, and propulsion system installation stage."

Before this "underwater project", ship construction has successfully completed three core stages, laying a solid foundation for the current construction, as follows:

1. Preliminary design and material preparation stage : Combined with the operating requirements and tonnage standards of the floating crane ship, complete the core work such as the overall ship design, structural design, and equipment selection, and simultaneously complete the procurement and material preparation of materials such as steel, parts, and core equipment to ensure that all materials required for construction are in place and prepare for subsequent construction.

2. Hull segmentation construction stage : dismantle the ship hull into several segments, complete the steel cutting, welding, and assembly of each segment in the workshop, and simultaneously complete the preliminary painting of the segments to ensure that the structural strength and dimensional accuracy of each segment meet the design standards, which is the core link of forming the main body of the ship.

3. Hull final assembly and main structure completion stage : The prefabricated hull segments in the workshop are assembled and welded as a whole in the slipway/dock to form a complete main hull structure. The painting of the hull below the waterline, compartment division and other work are simultaneously completed to complete all construction of the main body of the hull and create conditions for the installation of underwater equipment.

1. Ship launching stage : This is an important milestone in ship construction. The completed hull is transferred from the slipway/dock to the water, and a preliminary watertightness test is completed after launching to confirm that the hull has no leaks and that the underwater parts are installed properly.

2. Dock mooring test phase : After the ship is launched, it will dock at the dock, and all equipment such as the ship's power system, control system, hoisting system, and electrical system will be fully debugged and tested to simulate various operating conditions of the ship to ensure that all equipment operates normally and performs up to standard.

3. Navigation test stage : Carry out actual navigation tests in designated waters to test the ship's navigation performance, maneuverability, lifting performance, etc., troubleshoot various potential problems, complete test rectifications, and ensure that the ship meets navigation and operating standards.

4. Closing and delivery stage : Complete the rectification and improvement after the sailing test, the final painting of the hull, the final debugging of the equipment, and the simultaneous completion of various acceptance procedures, and finally deliver the ship to the customer and put the ship into official use.
